Dear Fellow WorldMUN Alum,
This site was created for you by other WorldMUN Alums. We will do everything we can to protect your personal information, as we have our own information stored on the network as well. The trust and goodwill we all felt at WorldMUN continues here, and we hope this will be a useful resource for you. A few notes on how we will use the information on site:
- Please make sure the information you provide to the network is accurate. People who purposefully misrepresent themselves or their achievements will have their accounts terminated.
- We will never give out personally identifiable information to third parties without your permission. For example, a potential employer may contact us asking to talk to someone like you, but they will not know who you are until you contact them yourself.
- Each member’s information is their own property. We expect that you will not share any of the information you find on the site without the permission of that individual person. If you do so, your account will be terminated.
- Your greatest security risk will probably be your password, so we ask that you: 1) choose a password that only you will know, and 2) that you never, under any circumstances, share your WorldMAP password with anyone else. We take many precautions to defend your information against unauthorized access and use. Your information is placed behind "firewalls," which are barriers preventing data on one computer from being accessed by another computer. We take other physical, electronic and procedural precautions to safeguard your information as well. Remember, our information is on the line, too :)
- Outside links that are posted to the site are beyond our control. Please use discretion when following them.
- We may collect certain aggregate, non-personal, statistical information about our users and share this non-personal information with outside parties in the hopes of providing more opportunities for WorldMUN Alums. This information will never identify you individually.
